It is believed John William Eakin passed away on March 8, 1992 at his residence in Dallas.  He was a retired school teacher and adminstrator.  He was survived by his wife Dorothea Kyle Eakin and a son, John Federick Eakin.  He was laid to rest in the Corinth Cemetery.
