Kenneth Baker

Kenneth Lewis Baker, born November 19, 1936, retired United States Air Force Chief Master Sergeant of 30 years, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and native of Timpson, TX passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 87. After retiring from the US Airforce, he also retired from Sunbeam Corporation and spent the last years of his life enjoying time with family, hunting, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. He was a member of The American Legion, Air Force Sergeants Association, The Retired Enlisted Association, Non Commissioned Officers Association of the United States of America, Armed Forces Top Enlisted Association, American Military Retirees Association, Air Force Memorial Foundation, a proud member of the National Rifle Association and an active member of the Tennessee Presbyterian Church. He will be laid to rest with full military honors. He was proud to serve God, his country and his family and was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 65 years, Bonnie E. Baker.
Survivors include his four children, two sons, Richard Baker, wife Brenda and Lewis Baker; two daughters, Yvette (Baker) Bowen and Tanya Baker; brother Maurice Baker, wife Bobbie, sister in law Minnie Baker; 8 grandchildren, Kenneth Joe Bowen, wife Cheryl, Billie Myrick, husband Robert, James Baker, Nicole Baker, Ashley (Baker) Basco, husband Michael, Jame' Bearb, Anthony Baker, Kayli (Baker) Mathews, husband Randy; and 11 great grandchildren, Brendan, Steven, Valyn, Jazmin, Kylie, Emerald, Cannon, Korie, Aiden, Rylen and Cole. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents Carlton Baker and Lucille (Kimbro) Baker, one grandchild Ryan Baker, son-in-law Bill Bowen and siblings Robbie Allene Baker, Harold Baker, Aubrey Baker, Thomas Baker, and Clyde Baker.
Pallbearers will be the United States Air Force Honor guard from Barksdale Air Force base.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Baker, Lewis Baker, Kenneth Joe Bowen, James Baker, Brendan Myrick, Steven Fuss, Robert Myrick, Randy Mathews and Michael Basco.
Funeral services will be officiated by Chaplain Anthony Baker (Grandson) and Rev. Robert Adamson.
